I find it incredible that anyone can have very clearcut opinion on who would take this fight.

All the rounds were close, but Whitaker gave it away down the stretch.

i hate to use forum cliches but; what fight were you watching?

seriously bro, i didnt give ramirez more than 3 rounds in that fight..if that much

for this fight fan, the only thing clearcut about that bout is that it would be a great match...

Get that straight. JLM lost ALL the rounds wasn't competitive in none of the rounds. Didn't land ****!! Its no wonder it was ONE OF THE BIGGEST ROBBERIES OF THE SPORT. Please, tell me your kidding.

I find this pretty surprising coming from you. Usually I agree with pretty much everything you say. I don't think the fight was as one-sided as some posters are making out but I have no doubt that Pernell won it reasonably clearly.

wmute as we already know this is Floyd's time. When its your time your mostly hated. They won't try to reason but pick against him. This we should already know.

I go for Floyd in a 140 suit and Pea at 147 , I wish Floyd had of hung at 140 for a while its a pitty the fights he craved wasnt there , I reckon we would have seen Floyds career best boxing at 140 .
eh i meant more average than Pea, you know when pea walks out of the ropes against ramirez second time around. **** like that make anything look more average

dunno how the weight would have affected the specific matchup, but I agree with the part about PBF's career: If Oscar (and the money he can make to anyone) did not exist, we would have seen a much better career for Mayweather, because he would not have moved up in weight to 154 while still being a 140 fighter.

Yo danc I must be trippin but it is as one sided as I said. I repeat NO ONE can name a round JLM was competitive in or even won.

I think Whitaker beats him too. The southpaw advantage I think is the key factor.
oh yeah jc vazquez forgot about that. i dont remember Pea eating that many shots in that one though. on the other hand floyd beat Oscar who had power to sell at 47-54.
