Since compubox, don't Floyd have the highest punch ratio in the history of boxing, granted compubox hasn't always been around. i think Floyd is more accurate and stronger and the better overall boxer. But Pea got him on the jab, Floyd hasn't really used a jab since his 130 ays. No one had footwork like Pea. I think stamina ia draw and Floyd got him in the chin dept. I never seen Floyd in no serious trouble. Pea on the other hand, i couldn't tell if he was hurt or messing around.

I don't know if yall remember but Pea fought roger and it was a good close fight for the most part. And it wasn't boring so a potential fight between the 2 would be a nice fight. depending on the night, either fighter could win a SD. Neither one would knock each other out or decisively beat the other on any night though.

      The Secret To The Fight

Would be the jab. Watch DeLaHoya-Mayweather, and you quickly note that Oscar was able to give Floyd trouble with his jab. When DeLaHoya stopped ramming the left into Floyd's kisser, Mayweather took over. It looked to me like Oscar could have won that fight if he would have forgot about right hands and left hooks and would have kept throwing those power jabs followed by body salvos.

If anyone ever mastered the art of throwing hard, crisp jabs and then following up with mean body-work, it was the Pea.

It wouldn't be easy, though. Mayweather is anything but a push-over. You have to be on your A+ game to win. Whitaker gets a close decision if he is on. He loses a close decision if he is off. The man who establishes the tempo via the jab is the guy who is going to bank the precious extra points at the end. Whitaker has, in my opinion, the superior jab and should prevail on points as long as he is able to land it with any regularity. Mentally, this would be the toughest fight for both of them career-wise. Neither guy is going to leave much in the way of openings, and whoever caves in to the pressure to lead off is going to be running a big risk. Neither guy is known for taking risks, but Whitaker gets a few extra points in that department, because he always sought out the best challenges, where Mayweather seems less interested in challenges and more interested in $$$.

          Seriously...
That will always be the biggest bull****. Mayweather can't handle southpaws

The Oscar and Tito losses were when he was past his best. So using them as examples is pointless. Just like when Floyd mouths off how he's better than Leonard because he lost to Camacho. You just look very silly.

If you watch the Chavez fight rather than read the result off boxrec, you would understand the true meaning of the word robbery. I'm a huge JCC fan and he was beaten by a clear distance in that fight. Disgraceful decision.

One again you have proved how little you know about the sport and how biased your opinions are.

Pernell fought the better fighters, thats why he lost, plus he kept fighting past his prime,I have a feeling,if they fought in their primes,Sweet pea, would outclass Floyd,if nothing else,on experience alone!!!!!!!!!!

floyd is bigger than whitaker, so I'll go with the good big man over the good little man.

but imho whitaker deserved the career distinction that floyd had.

Floyd started his career at 130 whereas Whittaker fought most of his at 147. How is Floyd the bigger man?

Not to mention moved up to 154 (not up to 148) and took the belt from a real champ...a guy who had dropped Winky five times.
