He will be remember as a tough fighter. I don't know if he was great, but he did beat a pfp entrant in Stevie Johnston, and was ranked pfp when he fought Floyd, and he beat some good guys before weight became an issue. One poster failed to realize this lol. I had to smash his thoughts too lol.
Jose Luis Castillo an ATG?

What was that? Were you saying something? Did you want to make that ban bet?No, you decided to leave that part of my post out. Wonder why?
I just call it the way I see it it. You, you're the king of hypocrisi and being biased. I proven that countless times. You can't be talking about biased lol.
What did I write?Just look at what you wrote lol.
And dude, "quick reply" always works, you aren't on the aol boxing message boards.

Sorry boy, it was a gift. Just live with it. Your boy Got the W, just be happy. Real boxing fans, ones that are objective, know it was a gift though.Comment

Someone made a good point re Mayweather-Castillo the other day - it doesn't matter if you win a round by a little or a lot, its still one round. Castillo lost the first 5 rounds IMO, Floyd was landing far more clean effective punches. JLC really got going in the second half of the fight but IMO just failed to pull it out. I re-watched the fight again very recently and scored it 115-113 to Mayweather but I could live with a draw.Comment

I don't understand the question. Did you read my post? I said I re-watched it the other night and scored it to Mayweather 115-113. Obviously I didn't think he won.
On whether he deserved to win I would again have to say no. Although he pressed the action for most of the fight and was aggressive throughout he only landed any effective punches in very short spurts. There was large periods of several of the rounds where Mayweather was moving effectively, using his defensive abilities to make Castillo miss and scoring well himself, particularly with jabs and quick counter right hands. Castillo did not have enough of those very good rounds to win a decision I don't think.Comment

Thank you. I only wanted to know if Castillo deserved the win. I wasn't trying to undermine you, or your thoughts on the fight. I did read your post. You know what effective aggression is.I don't understand the question. Did you read my post? I said I re-watched it the other night and scored it to Mayweather 115-113.
