Im saying that however well Pac vs DLH will do dec 6. You could have placed the same event anywhere else in the world and do just as well and have the same ratio cheering section 4 each fighter.

Floyd vs DLH could be done in the same venue as Ali Foreman and it doesnt make tenth what it did in vegas and there wouldn't be a single soul screaming floyd bumaye

there's too many factors going against people buying this ppv.

He's saying if you took Floyd-De La Hoya outside of America the live gate would be horrible. Whereas if you took Pacquiao-Oscar outside of America it would still do well (not great)

And Oscar is a bigger draw than Mayweather that is undisputable. Mayweather has been in two big PPV fights with two big draws. Oscar has been in a dozen.

No. Hatton's english fanbase is bigger than Pacquiao's it massive. 20000 people flying across to see one guy fight for 45 minutes (turned out to be less) that's dedication. Wherever Hatton fights, whoever he fights he is going to sell.

i wouldn't say hatton's fanbase is more massive.

they just have the money to do that. philippines has double the population of the u.k. but not a lot of people have the money to travel to the u.s. just to watch 1 fight.

That only $30 million outside the US. That is pretty poor. It obvious that the PPV would do well (because the Americans can still watch it) but the gate would be poor there simply aren't enough Americans willing to fly over and watch. Even if you put it in London the British don't care all that much for De La Hoya. When I lived there no one knew who Oscar De La Hoya was or who Mayweather was until Hatton.
