It's like those same people who thought the only way Floyd could beat Hatton was to box from the outside. A fighter like Hatton won't stop coming. You've gotta be able to beat them at their own game - I kept telling my buddies Mayweather was gonna stay in the pocket, kick his ass and KHTFO.

In order to beat Calzaghe, you must be able to do the same. Bernard Hopkins said it best, "If the other guy has a gun your best chance isn't to run away from it but to run towards it. You have a better shot of taking it away from him than avoiding a bullet."
Calzaghe is best on the inside, Kessler got drawn inside and lost. Lacy was expected to be better inside and wasn't. Look at what Hopkins did he backpedaled and countered with the right hand. You have to be able to do what Hopkins did for 12 rounds instead of 5.

That is a prime Roy, not this Roy. This Roy doesn't have the legs to do it.

He hasn't shown fatigue because he hasn't had to work that hard, against someone with a high workrate his legs and the amounts of punches that he will have to throw will have to be much bigger than they are now.

If I was a judge in that fight, it would have been 2 judges who knew what fight they were watching.

I agree, but nonetheless... he hasnt shown signs of fatigue, so you cant just say he doesnt have the legs to do it..

it would of made the US look bad if they gave the decision to bernard

Reed no offence but you must be seeing something different to what im seeing he looked tired against Trinidad and that fight was a slow pace and Roy did nothing for the first 4 rounds and was still tired at the end

i thought he looked tired against Hanshaw aswell and i think that the reason he did not finish Hanshaw i know he said it was because he did not wannt hurt him i dont buy that TBH

im not criticising Jones im just calling what i saw personally
