Excuse me, but isn't it apparent that I witnesssed this guy in his prime (I guarantee very few on here have)....by the way I broke down who he beat ?
...& in case you didn't notice, I say he's a great fighter. He is just become overrated by many.

As for Chico, I put that up right after he passed.....& it was to honnor his incredible bravery & the amazing fights he gave us. I don't rank him as a great fighter, just a legendary WARRIOR.
    Sanchez, was a great fighter.

You are ridiculous. EM, MAB, and Chavez all enjoyed longevity as well as amazing wins. Your favoritism is outstanding and obvious. Though Sanchez had some solid wins he faced a lot of green fighters. I admit that I haven't seen a whole lot of his fights that is being honest. Dude was a champ for a full 2 years. Each of those guys were champs for at least 4 times that amount of time. And fought more then twice as many title fights. Moving up in weight as well.

Sanchez would have had his hands full with EM or MAB. I am a bit of a EM fan and I admit it but I would favor EM's fast straight punches over Sanchez's looping shots. EM also had dynamite power when he was young. EM was a great boxer with speed and power, as well as a solid chin. EM also had better combinations and a much larger arsenal, at least based on the limited footage I have viewed. He lacked a straight right, solid jab, and uppercut. Those are things you need to beat some of the best boxers.

MAB is a rough tough customer with good power and a chin that is amazing. He knows how to break down fighters with his hook. His boxing ability developed very well later in his career he was good at slipping punches and landing. I'd say he would hold a speed advantage over Sanchez as well(which is saying a lot, because MAB isn't all that quick in the featherweight division).

Both fighters beat more HOFs, EM beat Pacman, MAB, Kelley, Ayala, and Zaragoza. Not to mention all the other champions.
MAB beat Ayala, Tapia, Kelley, and EM. Not to mention all the other champions.

Chavez beat Gamache, Taylor(questionable first, unquestioned second), Whittaker(questionable), Randall, Camacho, Mayweather, etc. And I am not even getting close to all the champions.

Not to mention these guys faced champions, not future champions, but each faced upwards of 10 champions.

I appreciate your implacability, it only contributes to the fact that you have no intellect. You are not willing to discuss and I understand that. You state things as factual but for some reason you end your statement with subjective. Your a hypocrite. Gomez was a good fighter but was limited by chin, and to power. Beating Gomez just required power, different styles could win.

Thank you for making yourself look idiotic, opinionated, and stubborn. You have proven nothing to anyone and it would have been more productive to just go say that in the restroom with no one in it. If you don't want to discuss something don't go on a discussion forum.

I too witnessed him in his prime and the man was a FANTASTIC boxer. there is a reason people still visit his grave and rub the dirt on their hands to try and absorb some of his legendary spirit. Thanks for clarifying your point.Youre probably right, I bet most of these guys don't know much about him.

he had the potential, but don't let his death boost his rating to high, he was a great fighter and could **** with greats like Barrera, Morales and Marquez.

I'd say top 50 ATG. If he had a modern trainer he would have been even crazier. He was like a quicker Margerito.
