No one was ever successful boxing Tito in his prime. He was far too relentless - in fact, he and Margarito are very similar in this regard. A prime Oscar De La Hoya came the closest and even he spent the last few rounds running for dear life. You just couldn't do it.
The best way to attack Tito was to effectively box AND brawl, the way a still-sturdy Vargas had some success doing and the way Hopkins did it completely.
Margarito would very much be in the fight with Tito - how could he not be? He could punch and take a punch. But in the end, that ability to take a punch would be his downfall.
