We all seen what Tony's pressure did to Miguel Cotto. If Margarito could walk through Tito's punches, could he eventually wear Tito down to the body and pull a B-Hopkins type finish on the Puerto Rican Puncher??? Tito's always had a suspect chin, and Tony's pressure, body attack and volume punching wear on opponents. He makes 'em work every minute of every round. He would basically double B-Hops output against Trinidad. Tony took Kermit's best shots, I think he could take the 147lbs version of Tito's best shots.

LOL okay kids time for bed. Tito wouldnt need to deal with 12 rounds of it cause he would KTFO of Margarito in the middle rounds. Marg is too easy to hit and doesnt know how to back off of it, he would get clipped too many times by Felix, and the man just hits too hard.Comment

Like all Trinidad fights against non boxers, he'll get knocked down early to dominate late and win the fight. I don't think Trinidad KOs Margarito though. His chin is just unreal.Comment

Yeah, that was Cintron's big downfall....he never figured to run into a fighter he couldn't KO, and when he did, he didn't know what the hell to do with him. Tito can **** harder than Cintron, I believe, but not by a bunch (Cintron, for all his lack of heart and maturity, has some serious ****) and I just don't know if he'd be the one to put Marg on his back or not. If he did, I don't think it would be a single shot> Margarito has the toughest beard I believe I've ever seen, pound for pound. He's going to be needing diapers by the age of 40, though...you don't take shots like that and not pay for them, sooner or later.Comment

Well we're talking about arguably the hardest hitting WW of all time. I mean Tito would hit people and they would never be the same (Ried, Campas, Vargas.) Mayorga had a good chin until he met Tito. At 147 Tito's power was brutalizing. I believe it would be an accumilation of punches that would eventually do Margarito in. It would be a good fight and I wish I could see it, but I say 10 round KO, Felix "Tito" Trinidad.Comment

Margarito might last 5 rounds vs Tito, he has no skill what so ever he is always there to be hit and Tito we all know what he could do. All Margo have is a chin other than that he just trains to throw punches like a mad man when the other doesn't throw but when the other lands he steps back.

First off, Miguel Cotto is a much better fighter than Felix Trinidad ever was. This always catches flack with Tito supporters but Trinidad was as one dimensional as one dimensional can get. He was a power puncher who always relied on the big shot to end the fight. Any time he was ever in over his head he showed a fundamental lack of ability to adapt. (See the first 8 rounds against Oscar, the entire Hopkins fight, and the Wright fight.)
Cotto is superior to Tito is ever possible aspect of the game, save for power punching. He can box when he needs to, he moves his head well, great ring movement, he's a better technician, etc....
Tito could not run from Tony, because A.) he's too prideful and B.) he's too ****** to know how. So his only choice would be to brawl Margarito. It then becomes a question of who's chin or body would break first, and that's up for debate.
One thing I know for sure is that if Trinidad couldn't take it, he wouldn't last as long as Cotto did because he isn't smart enough to get out of the way of incoming damage.Comment
