I think roys reflexes and stamina have faded so bad that this is why some say he is shot. common if this was a pre knocked out rjjr we would be like joe better have insurance cuz roy is gonna tap that muth****in ass no if ands or but. nobody would have bet me!!!! Saying roy was fighting was like a guarntee win out the door, you would be dumb to bet against him, now we worry, so in my opinion he is shot cuz being human aint superman!! ps and he was superman!!

Uh no thats not what shot means bro. I am sure Gatti can beat a ton of guys at the lower levels, Castillo as well. Being a shot fighter means your far enough past your best that your a shell of your former self.
Is RJJ shot? In the Tito fight, he didnt seem like he was there yet. Is he close? Yeah, he could be a shot fighter next time we see him in the ring, one more beating and hes done.

Having a pretty close opponent total and only being a few years younger, who's to say that the JC everyone, in Wales, has come to know and love, won't end up being Jones/Tarver II? JC isn't getting any younger and has only one place to go - down. Fading, hand problems, etc. All things an aging fighter has to recognize and deal with. Joe is no spring chicken anymore and we could very well see, sometime soon, that all the above is catching up with him. The difference is that RJJ has SHOWN signs of slowing down so everyone is so quick to say that he is shot and should hang them up. I don't think so though. I think both have their strengths and weakness' and the one who will win is the one who imposes their will on the other. I still lean towards Jones because JC has never faced an opponent quite like him and his ability to walk them down and flurry for 100+ punches around, IMO, WILL NOT happen in this fight. This war will end in the trenches. RJJ with a late KO or UD.
