You're too dumb to realize you are making my point for me.

      "he creates angles"

Thats a skill in the sport of boxing.
Common sense states that he's aiming for his opponents..but his natural god given ability of having a chin allows him to neglect any defesive stand-point and throw 100+ punches that's skill?..he lands 20% if that..

Creating angles usually consist of bobbin and weaving..and usin an effective jab..ya dig?

Cotto was showing some pretty good movement that night.

If nothing else was learned about Margarito, we got a pretty good sense that he is a hell of a lot more accurate than most everyone thought.

You haven't read thru this thread thoroughly have u?..

I clearly stated that heart will overcome skill at times..

and the Cotto fight was a perfect example of it..

            Margarito was hungrier..Plain and Simple..

lol, seriously, you're a joke. Creating angles is a skill just as much as throwing an effective punch which Tony does. You must have lost a **** load of money to still be this upset and try to degrade the mans skills.

Doesn't say much about Cottos abilities if he quit against a guy who is just big and doesn't have any skill as you say.

                  This post is on point

and this fight proved that statement..what would actually make Margarito an elite in the Boxing world?..his High work rate?..maybe..his iron chin?..ok?..or is it his tremendous speed...great footwork..stunning power..superior defense..or any other well-defined skill that would make him stand out?..

Bottom-line is..Him, his friends and family..and his down right #1 fans/stans can only credit him for 100+ punches per round..and his iron chin..

Again I'm not taking anything away from the man....he is a machine..but he's been exposed before..he can be exposed again..
So LaMotta, Basilio, Monzon, etc. all can't be elite, I can find a few hundred thousand people that would disagree.

No, he was just bigger and stronger and used his skills to overwhelm another fighter.

Ur the die hard fan of the man..so I'd expect you to say that..but his heart and chin out-weigh his skill like a brick to a feather..That's just my opinion tho..

no pun intended and much respect!.
