and the Cotto fight was a perfect example of it..

lol, seriously, you're a joke. Creating angles is a skill just as much as throwing an effective punch which Tony does. You must have lost a **** load of money to still be this upset and try to degrade the mans skills.

Doesn't say much about Cottos abilities if he quit against a guy who is just big and doesn't have any skill as you say.

If he is not elite, then neither is Cotto. Your skill set isn't the only thing that makes you elite, having the mental fortitude and physical gifts to beat the elite can also do so. How can you fight and beat elite fighters in the sport yet not be considered so yourself?

Because heart can overcome actual skill at times..

and this fight proved that statement..what would actually make Margarito an elite in the Boxing world?..his High work rate?..maybe..his iron chin?..ok?..or is it his tremendous speed...great footwork..stunning power..superior defense..or any other well-defined skill that would make him stand out?..

Bottom-line is..Him, his friends and family..and his down right #1 fans/stans can only credit him for 100+ punches per round..and his iron chin..

Again I'm not taking anything away from the man....he is a machine..but he's been exposed before..he can be exposed again..

So LaMotta, Basilio, Monzon, etc. all can't be elite, I can find a few hundred thousand people that would disagree.
