My simple questions for Kessler fans aka Calzaghe fans

Who has Kessler beaten to become a Top 10 P4P fighter??
    What was his best???

Is it true someone true boxing ability is shown when they face real competition?? Eg Tyson, Judah, Hatton

not sure why calzaghe fans think kessler is a super great fighter after calzaghe beat him in a somewhat close fight yet they think hopkins is total **** and most people think hopkins won that fight. calzaghe fans should be the biggest hopkins fans ever and hope he goes on to do great things so calzaghes "win" will mean more.

Maybe it should start shooting at people's legs to keep them from running.

Calzaghe said after the Hopkins fight that Hopkins was his hardest fight yet they argue this and also Hopkins come into the fight with a higher status and just beating Winky and Tarver

The only person I have seen saying that Kessler is a top ten P4P fighter is you. You have created a thread attacking those who rate Kessler and the best method you can come up with is to make up a proposition you feel is ridiculous and pretend that other people are saying it. Get a life.

However, since you ask, I believe most lists rated Kessler in the top 20 or so before he lost to Calzaghe because of the manner in which he cleaned up half the SMW division, winning two belts while doing so and defending against credible opposition. He won the WBA title against Siaca, defended against Mundine, then Lucas, then won the WBC title against Beyer and defended against Andrade. He outclassed all of them easily. Not a single one of these fighters was a bum, and if you think they are then I suggest you educate yourself about boxing and quickly come to the realisation that in order for there to be 'P4P guys', 'greats' and 'legends' there have to be a whole lot of other boxers who are not as good for these top boxers to beat. That's boxing.

Instead of coming back with some lame, hate filled reply, try taking a moment, thinking and realise that everything I've said to you is true. That way you might actually learn to enjoy the sport of boxing for its own sake, rather than, as far as I can see, deriving your only pleasure from it by the cheap thrill you appear to get from slating fighters you don't like and trying to annoy real boxing fans.

Whilst none of them are bums you would hardly call his resume stacked would you? Andrade is a tough but not even a semi-top guy, Beyer was very protected throughout his entire career and, IMO, is verging on bum status, Siaca is probably the best of the bunch but even he isn't close to a top fighter. I know Kessler's impressiveness in several of these performances and the fact that he held two of the belts helps to lift his status to an extent, his resume, as is stands, is currently a massive stumbling block. It is my fear that he is going to piss away his prime fighting more guys like Sartison and never allow himself to reach his true potential. I hope this does not eventuate though.
