Floyd did duck MARGARITO..What a poor response. Nothing new from you! All you can talk about is floyd ducked margarito, floyd is a fraud but yet when it comes to other things you have no idea about them and you act like you do, but when you get a chance to shut me up and prove you do know boxing you fail every time. Hey since you say im hated and you love making polls about other people go open up a thread with a pool and ask who is hated more rogelio or cmonmang, lets see who wins
. I bet you don't dare do it! and make it public to so we dont have your alts voting
hey how come you dont wanna know my score card for the second fight, the won I said Floyd won comfortably? is it because you agree?
its like when someone doesnt agree w/ you. then say they just started watching boxing ...lol.....

I'm not quite sure i understand your question. Do you mean would i feel the same about not wanting to fight a mexican and have mexican fans cheer against me?Let me ask you this tho. I would agree with DLH to a point. It seems like the diehard Mexican fans seem to vanish in there air when it comes to him fighting another Mexican. They always seem to root against him. Truth in point, and its a mood one, the fight with JCC, and i understand this as he is the biggest Icon in boxing history to Mexican fans. DLH was bashed by all Mexican fans during his 2 fights with him. If you were DLH would u feel the same way?!?!
If i take a little bit to responde please excuse me as im at work and trying to get some things done before i leave the office. but rephrase your question a little so my brain can understand it better.Comment

Floyd won that fight by about 4 rounds maybe more. He controlled the action and I believe my cards were around 116-112 the entire fight.
Also again watch the first fight without the commentary and tell me who u had winning. Ive done that 3-4 times with the first fight and each time I have Floyd winning 114-112. Try that as again the commentators were really with Castillo that night.Comment

no i asked you how you thought the fight played out and all you can say is floyd won. Asked what you had it after 6 and you don't answer. These are simple questions that if you watched the fight you can answer. but all you say is floyd won because you can't give a description of how you seen the fight because chances are you haven't. So unless you want to talk about the fight in boxing point of view lets do it. If you want to act like a kid and pretend i rather not.Comment

Exactly myu question man. No worries at all about waiting man. Ill always wait for a well talked about conversation with a solid poster any day of the week.I'm not quite sure i understand your question. Thats what I mean though. DLH considers himself a Mexican fighter. He has always and always will. So being a Mexican fighter, would you want to fight someone else who was Mexican knowing that his fans would somewhat turn on him and cheer for the other fighter?!?!
Hope thats a lil better!Comment

I will do that. I didnt do that with the first fight...I know it makes a diff..Floyd won that fight by about 4 rounds maybe more. He controlled the action and I believe my cards were around 116-112 the entire fight.

I watched the second Oscar/ Mosley fight with the sound off on the replayand actually had Mosley winning, evn though LIVE with my friends and HBO commentary thought Oscar was robbed.Comment

So you are referring to the second when asked how it played out?no i asked you how you thought the fight played out and all you can say is floyd won. Asked what you had it after 6 and you don't answer. Castillo couldnt touch Floyd in the second, he was easliy out boxed..Floyd didnt lay and the ropes as much and it wasnt as foul fested...
as far as this round that round..its been a minute I cant break it down like that un less I rewatch it again..
I know how I felt after both fights tho, every time iVE seen them..
the first, Close, but Castillo won...
the second, Floyds win more clear and comfortably..Comment

Do you remember why dlh pushed it back? I can't recall. I do feel like quartey's inactivity hurt him both in the dlh fight and vargas fight. Like you stated training keeps you in shape, but it doesnt keep you sharp. Your timing is not there your reactions are not there and you can train all you want but you will still be a "rusty". He hadnt fought in about a year and half before the delahoya fight. That had to have some play in his performance even though it's hard to say that considering how well he fought, but then it makes you think what if he had a couple fights between that or maybe even just a tune up fight would that have made his performance that night even better? I don't know hard to say considering we seen probably the best of ike quartey that night. It does boggle your mind to think "what if" he did have a couple fights or a tune up before the delahoya fight.Let me ask you this. Are we having this same converstaion as we are now about how controversial this fight was if Quartey had an adequate amount of fights leading up to the DLH fight??
Also mind you this again DLH postponed the fight about 2-3 month setback leading up to the fight. He then procedeed to fight in the toughest fight of his career IMO. Did this postponement play a role in the fight itself for either side. PArt of me thinks that DLH knew what he was going in there against, and he may in fact have pushed it back to try and give Quartey another 2-3 months setback. Also, remember that a fighter who is in training is not the same as a fighter being in the ring and actually fighting. His timing will be off a bit, no matter what the circumstances may be.
Thanks man. Boxing is one of the most important things in my life. I try each and everyday to learn something new about the fight game itself.Comment

It was a very close fight I had it 115-113 for DLHEvery time i see this fight i think **** man how can they give it to de la hoya. It's like the judges gave dlh 3 points for the final round. Quartey was giving de la hoya all he can handle. Quartey's killer jab was on point almost all night. he even floored delahoya with a hook (quartey down twice). Delahoya knew he was down his own trainers were telling he needed a knock out in the corner before the 12th began. And you can see the way de la hoya came out in the twelve HE ABSOLUTELY KNEW he needed a ko to win the fight. Quartey was one the most underrated guys in boxing. I think him and clottey are very much alike in that their great fighters not realitevely known.Comment
