The way I saw that fight is that it was extremely close. That knockdown in the 12th is what I think won DLH the fight. As for the Whitaker/Chavez, Whitaker won that fight. I love JCC but he lost that fight.

That's the exact answer you will get from a dweeb like cmonmang. You didn't watch the fight. Its funny how you always try to talk about **** you know nothing about. Now go look at some youtube videos that you can find to try to come back acting like you seen it the first time.

He asked you a very easy question "how did you score it" and that's the ****** response you gave. I guess that's the best you can do since you really have no score for it. You still didn't answer my questions about the fight. How did it play it out in your eyes? how did you have it after six? who do you think won the first round and why?

      These are simple questions.

Now i know it will be sometime before you next post because you didnt watch the fight and you are now looking for it on you tube. you could have easily explained yourself in your last post but you failed to do so like you fail in every thing else on this board. Can't wait for you delayed ass fake answer(yes we know your "busy").

This was the Quartey that would throw 70 or more punches a round and 30-40 of them would be jabs. Very hard to beat a fighter whos commiting to the jab this prolifically. He would keep his opponents at bay all night and always seemingly in range for the straight right hand bomb.
No doubt, Quartey at his best had the ability to beat anyone in his division.

I dont have the scored in my back pocket or written on my palm. I have seen the fight a few times..the first time was live... I had Castillo winning... I had Floyd winning more comfortably in the second fight. You dont have to be a hater to feel this way..it is the general consensus among fans not related to or in love with Floyd...dont let it get your panties in a bunch

I scored it to De La Hoya, close. I will not argue this hard with anyone as it was a very close fight, I also found it very entertaining.

You know your ****. Hard to believe a Quartey who hadn't fought since 1997 lost a controversial split decision to Oscar De La Hoya in 1999. What would've happened if he was active? That rust was very apparent as well in punch output and technique. Ah well...

my thoughts exactly you know nothing about what you talk about. We try to have knowledgeable opinions and conversations with you about things and you fail every time. We asked you simple questions cmonmang, simple questions that if you did indeed watch the fight "A FEW TIMES..THE FIRST TIME LIVE" you would have no problem talking about this fight and answering those simple question that ANYONE that has watched the fight "a few times" would be able to answer. You'd be much more respected if you just admitted to things instead of acting like a fool and putting up a front. There is NOTHING wrong with being a new fan of the sport! Absolutely NOTHING! It's opening your mouth and blabbing about **** you have no idea about is what makes you who you are and the reason you are heavily disliked on these boards.

definetly! I think yoofi boham who was a great manager from ghan and azumah nelson deserve alot of credit for making quartey the fighter he was! They also made him an internation known boxer out of ghan but i also think they could have done more to keep quartey more active before the dlh fight and after dlh leading up to fernando vargas. Oh well.

off topic since i mentioned azumah nelson. does anyone have his fights against salvador sanches or wilfredo gomez???

Yes, that decision was a travesty. That was the one fight that totally turned me off to DLH as a fighter. First, he gets by Pernell on some bs, refuses to rematch, and does the exact same thing to Ike.

DLH= boxings biggest fraud. Yes, he fought most of the biggest names, but when he won controversial decisions, he wasn't anywhere to be found for a rematch.

Btw, you have to love Ghanian fighters. They're like Mexican fighters, but darker.

                      Peace out to Azumah Nelson!
