most overrated fighters in history

Many on this forum say Roy Jones, James Toney, Bernard Hopkins, etc are the greatest boxers. But, I looked at their records and they have many losses. Yet, on this thread I read Joe Calzaghe and Rocky Marciano are overrated, and they have no losses. I dont understand that. If Joe Calzaghe and Rocky Marciano were not as good as you say, dont you think they would have some losses ? I dont understand.

No doubt about that. Im not even going to get into history but Roy Jones and Winky Wright are the most overrated of this era. Pernell Whitaker also, he was good but some say top 20 all time. I dont think so, not even close.

If you think Pernell Whitaker is one the most overrated fighter in history than you have a very questionable criteria. I won't even get into the Jones thing. Name 25 better lightweights than Whitaker. Or 50 if you think he's "not even close"
