Also it depends on how you score a fight.

Do you...........

A) - Go for the aggressor that is throwing more and landing the cleaner harder shots, but is landing less.

or

B) - Go for the guy that is landing 3 - 1. But the 3 that were landed were off balance shots while he was moving. A Jab, right, Jab maybe. (because that is what Cotto scored with on occasion).

Margs left hook to the body and effective aggressiveness was better than the 3 shots that Cotto landed and ring generalship.

I gave rounds 1,2,5,6,7,8,11, 12 too JMM
and rounds 3,4,9, 10 and the 3rd round knock down to Pac.

That really sounds pretty close to what I think I might have it.....Again ill have to get back to you and let you know for sure!


How did you score DLH and May......I had 8 rounds to 4 for Mayweather. They split the first 6, now I cant remember if it was 1,3,5 for DLH or if it was 2,4,6 for him, but after that I had May winnning round 7-11 and DLH winning round 12.....116-112.....

Also I dont remember the exact rounds I scored it yet Ill check this one 2...I know I scored 4 outta the first 6 for Hopkins, I had this fight 6 round apiece with Hopkins winning 114-113 b/c of KD.....And again Ill hafta check it...That being said, the first time I score it I scored it 7-5 for Joe but since I ve scored it 2 more times...Again without the volume, and had Hopkins winning both time by the same margin!!

This Post is a direct Response to you basically saying that Floyd did more running against Baldomir, Then Cotto did against Margarito.

I dont know if you have been to a fight or not.....
But seeing it live and on TV are 2 totally different things. You can see the power that the shots are landing with. You can the way that the boxer reacts and feels being right there by them. You can feel the will and dtermination of the fighters. You can literally see the feelings of the fighters and the fighters cornerman. You can see all of these things. TV and being right there is totally different. Plus they dont have the commentators shoving their opinions down your throat. The judges were in no way biased for either fighter. Both fighters had the same promoter.

I go to a lot of big fights. I was actually at this fight. The crowd ooo's and ahhhh's are just from punches being thrown. In many cases fighters have been awarded for high work rate but not landing anything. I think its easy to confuse the two and possibly think that judges should go to TV to judge fights. You should never be rewarded for slapping or high work rate but poor punch rates. I scored this fight 5 to 5 thru 10 from my seats(good seats too, not nosebleeds) but that was with me giving Margarito a close round that coulda gone either way. Margarito won the fight and woulda probably snatched up the last 2 rounds but some people and thinking that cotto won like 3 rounds PLEASE. Just cause your boxing and not brawling doesnt justify not getting points. Just like Duran crying that Leonard wasn't brawling so he quit, people have to understand that boxing is BOXING and not just brawling.

This shows your boxing knowledge. It is common knowledge that the only guys that beat Margs all stood their and fought with him toe to toe. Santos, P Williams, and even earlier in his career. You can stop posting now.

Yes and just because you control the ring doesn't mean much in the whole aspect of winning a fight. If I am stalking you down but missing, how am I winning a round? Im not, Cotto may of been getting backed down but especially from the start he was rocking Marg while Marg missed a lot. But from the judges site all they see is Marg pressing, throwing a lot, and making Cotto bloody.
