man what you typed sure sounds exciting. just playing it in my head, it sounds like a hell of a fight.

      but.......

why were the fans booing? in Floyd's hometown? Why werent any people booing Cotto? i mean, these are the fans that want excitement and they were standing and applauding the end of each round? i dont understand how that could happen if Cotto was actually running is that not right? you mean to tell me that ALL of a sudden, latino fans gained respect for the most technical aspect of the sport?

I understand why Floyd developed that defensive style since he moved up to welterweight. it would be ridiculously ****** for him to stay in front and just exchange when he really doesn't have to. Of course, the majority of casual fans aren't going to like it and even though Professional Boxers DO owe fans SOME kind of excitement because they wouldn't be on that level, on that stage without the money that fans pay for to see excitement, at the end of the day, a fighter only has his finances and his family to look out for him.

But to start crying and claiming that Cotto was "running" just because you (and im not saying you Horus but in general) were offended and caught feelings because your favorite fighter was called a runner purposely neglecting that Cotto was trying to hurt Margarito (as evident by Margo's face) and also the fact that Cotto was "trading bombs" as most articles on the fight describe is pretty ridiculous.

Floyd is a pure boxer. Cotto is a boxer/puncher. Floyd purely boxed against Baldomir and De La Hoya in which resulted in what mostly everyone in the industry from writers, hardcore fans and casuals described as "boring fights". Cotto boxed and punched against Margarito which resulted in what mostly everyone in the industry from writers, hardcore fans and casuals described as "a fight for the ages", "a fight worth the money", "a certified FOTY candidate if not FOTY".

Now how would that even be able to be accomplished in a fight where ONE of the fighters was running the whole fight?

      Jesus loves all of you.

Alot of the shots had no mustard behind them. Just watch his feet. He hit Margs with a jab, straight, jab, and jumped uot of the way. He landed that little combo, but one big left hook to the body obliterates that little combo.

And look at the first round.... Why does nobody seem to see all the right hooks to the body that Margs landed. This is for the entire fight. They dont see the body shots to upper ribs, sternum, and solar plexus, but they see these little flashy combos from Cotto that had no real pop. I dont get it.

You didn't see the same fight as everyone else because your either

          A)Biased
          B)Have a hate for Cotto
C)Don't know how to score fights

Everyone had it around even yet for some reason you see it a complete different way. I stopped reading after a few sentences because its people that let hate get in the way of calling a fair fight. 5/5 thru 10 round or 6/4 cotto thru 10. No if ands or butts.

at the beginning, those shots HAD some of that good ol hotsauce, but then Margo started putting that A-1 sauce and broke the steak down and then Cotto wasn't putting **** behind those.

Ahh ****....Ill rewrite what I def. had it scored when I get to my house........I believe tho I had Jmm winning by one or 2 points. I know I socred the first one for Pac for a fact, but even still I only had it 114-113 in that fight for Pac......I think in that fight it was allll ring generalship and clean punching by JMM, despite the KD, which was probably the most effective punch of the night. JMM continued to land the crisper punches that really seemed to hurt Pac moreso then Pac's one punch KD....

Again Ill PM yah or just send it in your profile the exact score I had round by round..........

And also mind you this, as close as I scored that 2nd fight, I really thought that JMM was really dominating the action for the most part....

If you indicating that because PBF did that against the worst champion of our times, Cotto should have been able to do it against Margarito then you are lost.

I cant quote the rounds right now, but Cotto did stand with Margarito at times and EXCHANGE shot for shot... that was one of his mistakes. He did not go to the body, and he stated that he tried to do so... I believe the fighter. If anyone goes to the body its Cotto, and if he said that he didnt have the opportunity, I belive him.

and BTW, PBF would not be able to "walk Margarito down".... if you are indicating that.

Now, answer my question, WHY ARE YOU COMPARING BALDOMIR TO MARGARITO????
