The attraction of new or casual fans are NOT necessarily a great thing for the sport as a whole. People will love boxing(the sport) or not. The promotion turns into a hyped up circus turning it more into a fad than anything else. It's a money grab that hurts the hardcore fan. This is probally one of the reasons why most PPV's only has one or two(maybe) matches worthy of anything.

That biasness, nationalism, and to an extent, racism is bad for the sport(s). Man the f**k up. We don't live in a one world, one nation, one love planet. We all have likes/dislikes for whatever reason pulls you one way or another. The Olympics for example, one can achieve greatness and glory, but isn't it really Nation vs Nation?
