Why Calzaghe deserves more respect around here.

This is just sad. If people don't like calzaghe then they are NOT going to like him no matter HOW much you all cry and beg for people to believe otherwise. Its like your trying to convince people to LOVE your little hero Joey. Its really really really really sad and VERY PATHETIC. VERY VERY PATHETIC...

I'm not a fan of Joe nor do I RESPECT anything he has EVER really done in the ring. I just see a guy that touches other guys for 12 rounds looking to win by points without ever looking that tired. That is actually impressive, the not getting tired part. AND If he were to ever BOX in the Olympics, I think he would be THE GREATEST OF ALL TIME. HE WOULD OUT TOUCH EVERYONE and WIN every fight, because that's how he fights "OLYMPIC STYLE" Which is why I do not and will not EVER like his style. But if he walks threw Jones by a UD and Fights Pavlik (NOT WIN BUT JUST FIGHTS) I will pay my respects. It wont be that much, but it will be more than I have for him now. I think MANY will have the same feelings if this does happen. I don't think there would be any other way to look at it, besides Joe getting his credit. fair?

Yes, this is a boxing forum. It stands to reason that boxing fans will talk about their favourite boxers. I don't really understand posters whose main interests seem to be 1) slating fighters they are not a particular fan of and 2) slagging off other fans, its pretty childish really, and its done solely to get a reaction.

By all means its good to argue about boxing, but once you get down to the level of playground name-calling and insults then all things considered its a waste of time.
