Joe Calzaghe is the most exciting boxer to spectate, he's able to make the fights so wild, with such a high phase, he's a daredevil and he has a chin of granite (only been down 3 times or something).
I heard a lot of people saying: "He fight bums like Kessler and Lacy", when I read a quote like that I usually ignores it, because it's someone who without doubt has no clue what he is talking about.

Joe Calzaghe's way of fighting is what makes him unique, it makes him something else than the average boxer. People who said the comment above this, are now saying that Bernard Hopkins and Roy Jones Junior are bad opponents because their no longer in their primetime. If I was Calzaghe and wanted to silence my critics I would have no clue of what to do, first he takes the two best young fighters and then (if) he takes Roy Jones Jr. he have taken the legends too. A man can ask himself, what is there to do?

I know, I know. Pavlik. This fight is probably the best pound for pound fight there can be arranged in my eyes, if Calzaghe took the fight with Pavlik - There wouldn't be anymore people for him to fight. He would have taken everybody. I'm really looking forward to the Bernard Hopkins - Kelly Pavlik fight, because the majority of this site thinks that Bhop wil win it. If he does I don't think Joe should ever face Pavlik, but instead end his career after Jones, undefeated, and in my eyes the best fighter and the most interesting boxing personality of all times.

Dawson is only better than Hopkins in the minds of his fans, on paper he isn't, he hasn't proved any such thing, yet. I'd love to see him and Calzaghe fight though. Imagine Joe had fought Dawson instead of Hopkins and won though. It would be "Dawson was unproven". Indeed, Dawson is not really any more proven than Mikkel Kessler at this point.

So by comparison you'd expect ppl to demand those fights are made way more.
