I had a major party for this event with about 55 people....(ricans,blacks,mexicans and in between)
85% of the people had it scored like this...AGain Cotto lost NOESCUSES but you gotta be crazy to think that Margo was winning the fight!!

Therefore, by your ludacris conclusion, the 3 VETERAN judges scoreing the fight ringside were crazy? Because they had Marg winning the fight!

He may have been up 6-4 by your count which doesn't count for ****(neither does mine I had it even), but 2 judges had it 96-94 for Margarito and the third had it even. Cotto saved himself from KO by quitting, or a decisive beating for the last 4 minutes that could have ruined him if he is not ruined already.

This nationality war bs is annoying. Win for Mexico? No it is a great win for Margarito. His fans also get to enjoy his success.

This is the mentality that has polluted the sport and lost us so many fans... Like saying because New England beats the Giants during during regular season there needs to be no super bowl... Or a dozen more examples in sports... I could have watched Robertson fight LaMotta a dozen more times and every time been on the edge of my seat...

Yes, I called Margarito the first fight and I am giving Cotto his props as a professional for the second possibly...

And a any boxing fan should wish the same and a dozen more like them paired off making money for themselves and their familes. Bringing the sport back to where we can go to Yankee Stadium again in front of a packed crowd of 70,000 , not to see a football game, not a baseball, game but the warriors of OUR SPORT give us a fantasic evening ....

I'm sick of Boxing being on the fringes!!!!!

Good article. Yes Cotto has the skills to beat Margarito, he showed that. But Cotto must come in with a new game plan and a new trainer.

and to the gentlemen above, I along with 12 out of 13 people at my crib had it 6-4 Cotto (including a Mexican).

That said, Cotto needs 2 solid fights before he takes on Marg again.

Are you serious you gave the second round to Cotto? How? You gave the tenth to him too? Dude was on his bike. You gave the 4th to Margarito?

You got issues, study up and learn to score a fight then come back rescore the fight and let me know what you come up with.

                    Round 1 Cotto
                    Round 2 Margarito
                    Round 3 Cotto
                    Round 4 Cotto
                    Round 5 Cotto
                    Round 6 Margarito
                    Round 7 Margarito
                    Round 8 Cotto
                    Round 9 Margarito
                    Round 10 Margarito
