Why a Margarito - Cotto rematch?

I understand what you are saying, however I think it is simply two sides to an argument. You either think Margarito punches too hard for Cotto to be able to maintain his stamina and movement or you think that Cotto could improve these aspects and nulify Margarito a little better in a rematch. I happen to believe the latter but I can understand people seeing the former as the more valid argument.
The bottom line is that it cannot be denied that the way Cotto fought was effective for the first half of the fight and if he could maintain this for the entire fight he would have won a decision.
Just because you pour syrup on **** doesnt make it pancakes.Comment

While he was ****in retreating. So if Mayweather did this to Cotto you would say he was running. Why is it different? Margs didnt get warmed up until the 4th. I'll take one gancho punch, instead of a jab, right, jab that were all pitty pat. Yeah Cotto landed punches, its ****in boxing. You get hit. I was at the fight. Look at the replay. Cotto went down without being touched and gave up. I was at the fight. He shook his glove to say no. It was over. GARBAGE!!!!! Your only piece of **** star lost. Now what?Comment

Cotto can learn from his loss to Antonio, he'd already know what he's up against and how to adjust. He would train for those adjustments. He's still a smart fighter. Miguel just need a good break and relax until he's 110% healed then get back in the gym and hopefully fire his uncle!
Even if he protects his body more, that means more shots on the china chin of Cotto. And you know what that means. Remember what happened to humpty dumpty. They couldnt put that **** back together.Comment

i want to see cotto have a tuneup first. he shouldn't try to pull a mosley!
and i think the tj tornado has no worrys taking a good layoff then fighting williams right off the bat. what williams did to quintana II is what tonys going to do to him.Comment

I'll give you 10K in points if you can sig more than 10 punches where Cotto actually SITS DOWN ON HIS PUNCHES and throws them with good leverage past the 4th round. He didnt. He was going backward when he through his punches. Which if you really are an "AMATEUR" boxer, you got a ****ed up trainer if he didnt tell you that. Or your really dumb, because you should already know that ****.Comment

He was 110%. I guess Alfonso really took alot out of Cotto huh? He cant improve on ****. Box and run and lose your stamina and get give up late. Or stand toe to toe and get KO'ed early.

I was at the ****in fight. Now I know you wont amount to **** when you box because you should know that even though he was standing still doesnt mean ****. His feet were in bad pasition. When you're standing square up and feet are shoulder wideth means bad balance, no leverage, no being able to turn your hips into punches. Come on dude. Bring some boxing knowledge. Dont argue with a trainer, because mother****ers like me get paid to train ****ers like you.Comment
