He just turned 20 a few months ago. He's 26-1 and his loss was when he was 16-17 yrs. old.

First time I've seen his fight. The Filipino prospects I've been following haven't turned out so well.

Rey Bautista got Boom Boomed the **** out by Ponce de Leon.

A.J. Banal got Bazooka'd a few days ago.

What do you guys think of this kid? Opinions?
Pretty good, looking forward to seeing more. What weight class is he?

those golden boy prospects kept their ala gym trainers.

i heard they gave banal a full body massage right before his fight!

                not very smart......
Reason why Top Rank is so much better than Golden Boy promotions specially for Pinoy fighters... He looks at his fighters as long term investments and wants them to be as successful, hence lucrative, as possible. Notice how Abe hasn't been thrown to the lions yet... Golden Boy is looking for the instant payday and doesn't care how, who, where and what his prospects do so long as the fight at a contracted date. Reason why Oscar will never surpass Bob as a promoter. Reason why Oscar vs. Arums fighters are in favor of Arum.

This kid has some good tools and if he is only 20 he is a blue chip prospect. Lets hope he is well managed and not rushed.

As much as I wanna root for ALA, signing a contract with GB and continuing to train their own fighters... They have been great at bringing their fighters to the gates but need to know when to let go and let championship trainers get them to championship levels. A few of their fighters have gassed out in fights they were clearly winning, only to loose at the last rounds. It seems like they want all the credit from start to finish and GB aint helping any, which will ruin a lot of their fighters full potential.
