I totally agree.

Margo did hit him (unintentionally) while he was on one knee, and Bayless either didn't catch it or chose to ignore it.

But, certainly, a point deduction would've been fair to keep things in perspective, and give Cotto some time recover.

It's a tough call to make unless people make stink out of it and the NSAC decides it is important enough to warrant an investigation.

Look at the picture posted, right above Cottoīs head there is the big screen and there you can clearly see that cotto is on one knee and Margarito hasnīt throw the punch so the referee should have done something, deduct a point and 5 minute break or even DQ Margarito.

Bayless is a better referee than Cortez. He saw the punch had no significant effect it barely sc****d Cotto. Roy Jones however hit Griffin with a very significant punch and it was intentional.

This is such a shame even on a Big fight you can see Cotto was down and the ref sees Marg loading up and does nothing when the punch lands!
Barrera got deducted 1 point for hitting JMM when he was down on his knees and jmm got the 5 minute count, which he took like a minute.

They should of gave cotto 5 minutes and cotto should of took the full 5 or at least 3 minutes to rest.
