Retired? What else is he gonna do? Sell mixtapes at the swap meet. He'll be back and he''ll fight JT, no doubt.

Of course I'm joking. Who the hell Lacy thinks he is?!?!

I'm way more sorry if the Gary "MF'ing Game Face" Lockett retires that this so called Lacy. Lockett has heart.

It is probably the shoulder injury that is affecting Lacy more than the Calzaghe fight, which is ancient history by now. That shoulder injury put Lacy out of action for an extremely long time, and it's amazing he was even able to get back into boxing condition after such a long rehab period. His power was affected in his left hook from the injury since he came back, no question about it.

Dirty business is the only business in boxing, Lacy is used to that by now, or he should be. This is a business where your manager or promoter is your closest and best friend one day and is suing you for millions the next day. It is as bad as Hollywood with the backstabbing and it all starts at the top with the promoters and the corrupt alphabets.

Lacy should not have need for money by now, so he could stay retired, but if he returns let's hope he has his old confidence back of the juggernaut that tore through people.

i don't know. after calzaghe he's always looked like **** even before shoulder injure.
i think he ended up a headcase and after seeing him wednesday he is definetly making the right move.

He's a funny old character, mentioned nothing of not wanting to fight Taylor, probably not to his camp. So somethings happened aroudn the time of the fight. Anyone knows its a dodgey business, so don't throw your toys out of the pram and throw away a great opportunity in the sport over it, that's just bad form and weak character imo, sorry.

He's not going to help things from outside the sport. So be a man, tell ppl what's happened to him, that he won't be pushed out of the sport he's put so much into, what he's gona to differently, and do to help it.

Instead he's mouthed off attacking it and said I'm quitting.
