He's a funny old character, mentioned nothing of not wanting to fight Taylor, probably not to his camp. So somethings happened aroudn the time of the fight. Anyone knows its a dodgey business, so don't throw your toys out of the pram and throw away a great opportunity in the sport over it, that's just bad form and weak character imo, sorry.

He's not going to help things from outside the sport. So be a man, tell ppl what's happened to him, that he won't be pushed out of the sport he's put so much into, what he's gona to differently, and do to help it.

Instead he's mouthed off attacking it and said I'm quitting.

well if he's a headcase its hard to admit to the truth.
figure he sees the writting on the wall and doesnt want to be relagated to being a trialhorse for the up and comers or an easy tuneup for top 10.

Lacy is making vague statementsa bout boxing being shady as a result he is done......It wasn't a shady boxing business that made him look bad in his last fight, it is him...Lacy is a very limited fighter and was exposed by Calzaghe and hasn't been the same......I hope this is true because I really didn't want to see Taylor fight him anyway....let Taylor call up Alan Green or let Taylor fight that Froch dude.......too bad HBO try to put something else together...LOL...Good Riddens LACY!!!!!

its for the best that he doesnt fight taylor as people are forgettin taylor may have lost the second pavlik fight but he went hard for the 12 rounds and he and some others felt he had a case for victory if he fort the lacy that fought on wednesday he wud hav done him in

My hunch is it probably has something to do with his purse in his last fight or the purse for with the Taylor fight..
Don't know why he'd throw away the good money that a Taylor fight would bring him.

He's not the best, but he still can get paid, no matter how bad he's looked in recent times.
But to throw Taylor money away, it has to be a dispute involving cash.
