Calzaghe had a ****ty division and fought those chumps sure. But he was willing to fight the best. Hopkins wasnt. Simple really.

As far as I know Calzaghe and Johnson were scheduled to fight before Joe had more hand troubles which have plagued his career.
What shows he was willing to fight the best? Because he negotiated with Hops? Or because he called out Roy Jones to come fight him at 168?? LMAO. Who can forget that on that Tyson undercard? Some nobody champ telling the undisputed light heavy king to move back down to fight him. REAL BALLS!

And yeah, Calzaghe and Johnson were scheduled to fight and it never happened. Kinda like the Hopkins fight, right? Or did Joe's hand problems force him to retire, thereby negating a fight with Glen? Please.

Errmmm so agreeing to fight Hopkins isnt a sign that he wants to fight him? Course not.

Jones was the one who eluded to moving back down to 168lbs. Calzaghe, on more than one occasion, said he struggled to make weight and would be happy to fight Jones at 175. But at the end of the day, he's not gonna give up his belt, go up and wait around for Jones to fight him. Jones wouldnt even fight Dariusz M who was an undefeated long reigning champion at 175.

No nothing like the Hopkins fight. Calzaghe didnt pull out and ask for double the money. He pulled out because of injury.

Johnson went on to beat Jones and then claimed he didnt want the Calzaghe fight anymore. He went after Tarver instead. Fair enough.

Entirely false. Entirely false time period, entirely false everything. But I'm through arguing for now. It's Friday night and I'm off for drinks.

Yeah, Jones wanted to move down to 168 and fight this nobody. I guess he got scared and decided to leap two divisions and fight a heavyweight.

I sure hope your boy wins convincingly in November. It's gonna be hard explaining how two 40yr olds made him look like ****. And somehow, telling straight lies - like this absurd post (and your previous one) - won't work. Cheers.

Its Friday night and Ive already had drinks! But I know what Im talking about.........I can find the article when Johnson states he doesnt want to fight Calzaghe anymore.

I can show the quotes from Jones saying that he wanted to move to 168. I never said he got scared. Calzaghe was willing to move to 175 also.

So break it down my man if you think Im lying.

I had Hopkins beating Calzaghe in their last match up. Obviously I would give it to a prime Hopkins.
