im gonna take hopkins... for the only reason being, the only reason i feel bernard lost, is his stamina died down due to his age

          Hopkins w/o question.

only reason he lost is because he didn't have the stamina at age 43 to keep up.

Sad, because I am 100% sure if RJJ loses it will be because of the same reason. Calzaghe simply can't outclass Hopkins/RJJ remember I said.

Yep, I agree. Still though, 40+ year old versions of each fighter give Calzaghe problems. That says a lot about them.

Prime Calzaghe beats Prime Hopkins by UD

People use the age excuse for Hopkins loss to Calzaghe....but Calzaghe was no spring chicken either, he was past his prime too....Calzaghe hit way harder in his prime before all the hand injuries.

The Hopkins that made Trinidad toss in the towel would beat the ever living piss out of Joe Calzaghe. Calzaghe is A LOT closer to his prime than B-Hop is now, and barely pulled out the W. Hell the old Hopkins might have finished Joe in the 1st round given that knockdown when they fought a few months back.

Calzaghe might have punched a bit harder back then but it don't mean much when hopkins rarely gets hit flush.

Hopkins also punched a lot harder back in the day too (no comparison on who hit harder prime 4 prime).
