He will be in the H.O.F. Goodbye Mr. Arum. Boxing doesn't need you anymore.
I agree with this post. he is not even allowing Pavlik to settle in as a champion. He is only trying to milk the guy. Pavlik has balls so he will take any challenge, but Arum is going to wreck him before his true potential comes out making him yoyo through weight classes.

Pavlik should just throw those belts of his in the trash. They are useless to him as long as Bob is guiding his fights. If the Hopkins fight was at 164-166 I would not have an issue, but they will kill Pavlik's body making him jump up and down like that.

Not once have I heard Arum mention Abraham's name.
i now man. i hate bob, but have backed off since he was talking so much about unification, and how the mw champ is so sacred to the sport! hei s still, and always will be about the ****ing$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$. And golden boy is no better, odlh, and bhop are in the way of the fights we all want! oscar with pbf preventing 47 showdowns with cotto, or marg, or any relevent contender for that matter, just so oscar could get his fight he did not earn, and now bhop preventing mw uni! ****, i am so pissed!!!!!!!!!!

Taylor deserves a shot...a couple of close losses (apart from the KO of course) to Pavlik shouldint keep a great fighter like him from the limelight...he has paid his dues.

Mind you AA has a madatory...can Pavlik wait this long for a fight???
Is it all about the Pavlik Calzaghe money cow or what???

Arum could land an interim fight with Williams or Winky if he tried hard enough. He is trying to land Pavlik fights with old men, simply to give him name recognition. well if that is the case, negotiate with Winky. It is a far more interesting fight than Hopkins anyway.

That means Pavlik is moving up to super middle weight then, well there are still good opponents at 168 including Kess and Bute.

You will not see Taylor move back down to Middleweight now. Although a 168lb clash with Abraham would be enticing once Abraham moves up.

I'd personally like to see Kelly take on Winky/Williams next. After that, unify the division against AA. From there I'd venture to 168 and take on Kessler - - THEN I'd call JC out for a mega showdown. I don't think JC will be around for all those fights to take place, but if I was Kelly, I wouldn't give a ****. There would be too much money for Joe to turn down at that point though. This is prob the best path he could take right now IMO.

Hopkins has long been on the verge of retirement, and now this? C'mon, Pavlik. You really don't need to fight him. You are a middleweight champion who is expected to clean house of the division and unify. There's already AA waiting in the wings. Let the young fight the young and the old fight the old.

Excitement and Hopkins are two words that should never enter the same room, storage space or walk-in closet. They should live on separate coasts. Pavlik needs to fight Abraham not get into the "PPV Event Fights". Which is what Mayweather did, Oscar continues to do and Hopkins as well. Golden Boy seemingly does not believe in divisional matchups but rather putting on "The Event Fight". The event fights usually come towards the end of your career when you can capitalize on your name recognition. Pav isn't there yet. He needs to fight Abraham period.
