what the **** are you talking about? I ordered the ESPN PPV just to watch Shane when he fought Estrada. The fight against Jose Luis Cruz was more of the same. Alot of it had to do with the fact that when Shane lost he basically hired john david jackson who altered his style, and he was turning out performances that simply werent eye catching by any means. Shanes best wins beyond 135 are Oscar, Vargas and Collazo, thats it. Vargas was coming off of several surgeries and complications from usage of steroids, his performances were also looking bad, against Javier Castellejo he was booed IN CHICAGO. Because again, he just wasnt the same. Mosley put Vargas into retirement in that 2nd fight.

I am way off on mosley, ok. Explain why? I saw those fights, infact, i have seen all of mosleys signature fights and his minor tuneups within the last 8 years, maybe you see it different than i do.

Im sorry, youre right, i did read your response wrong. If you are going to seriously argue that floyd, at a weight where he maintained knockout power, more speed and a better workrate at 140, wouldnt have given cotto a supreme beating in 2004/05 when he was weight drained and had a hard time reacting to punches (as evidenced getting moved by malignaggi, torres and corley) you are free to think that. That fight would have barely been competitive, Mayweather is smarter than cotto and always will be, but at a weight where floyd is even more dangerous than he is now, the Size/Power issue would be irrelevant.

i think his accomplishments so far are very overrated. many of his wins at 140 were floyd mayweather leftovers and he has yet to beat big natural welterweight.

The only fighters of what u call PBF leftovers that Cotto fought are Juuko and Corley. Juuko was Cottos 10 fight. Don't know much about Juuko. Corley is a descent fighter. Who else of what u call leftovers?

Cotto's accomplishment is not overrated. 2 world titles in 2 divisions. Has defeated Mosley, Judah, Quintana, Maussa, Torres, and Malignaggi. And his still undefeated.
