Could we get some insight on how you think their resume's stack up against each other? What is your main criterion - quality of opposition or display of dominance?

Jones has beaten 15 past or present title holders spanning 4 weight divisions, he more often than not blew them out of the water and is the first man in 100 years to move from middleweight up to heavyweight to win a title even though it was against John Ruiz, Ruiz was still a legit heavyweight titlist.

Better opposition/wins: Mayweather due to fighting tougher fights and winning

Close, but I think Roy's title collection and style may lead many to believe he was the MUCH better fighter in history. However, I look at Mayweather as the more polished fighter who beat an overall, more well rounded opposition.

Overall talent/gifts shouldn't be the #1 determining factor in this. They were both awesomely gifted in different ways. Jones' gifts were accented through flash and handspeed. Mayweather's gifts were accented through more accuracy, polished and well rounded in and out fighting.
I second that argument. RJJ was a hell of a lot more entertaining though. Thats what puts him past PBF to me. Flash vs Skill with equal success.

what's a better win a belt against a not that great heavyweight champion or a great past prime super welterweight champion?

Funny how the top P4P seem to pick their opponents strategically. Floyd beats an undefeated Englishman who was fighting at an improper weight class, and Jones Jr. fights John Ruiz, a bull**** heavy. Could you imagine Jones in with a Wladimir heavy? I think he woulda been decapitated by the first right hand bomb Wlad lands. So out of the 2? Who should be ranked higher in the history books? Are we gonna forget all about Jones great performances in the past just because he has some losses now and isn't anywhere in the upper echelon he used to be? Or should we let that little wanker be at the top spot because of his strategic wins?
If I was to go into an detailed analysis into Pacquaio's Career and flaws...
You would call me a hater....even though the analysis would be fact based, and with context.

But I happen to Like Pacquaio. I think what he means to his people is something to Give credit too....

But if we was keeping this on boxing
A little suggestion, You shouldn't shoot bullets at a bullet proof window when your favorite fighter still rides In a jeep when it comes to boxing..

Is that your way of discrediting Mayweather while making excusers for Corales? Like it or not, Diego continued to fight some great fights at super featherweight and winning the title more times down there. He was not weight drained. Thats just an excuse. If he was weight drained, wouldn't you think that he would have immediately moved up in weight afterwards, similar to the way Toney did?

Roy Jones was the best fighter since Pernell Whitaker. Damn near invincible in his prime.

Hopkins was not better then 33-0 #5 p4p with wins over Roberto Garcia, Dereck Gainer, and Angel Manfredy Diego Corrales. At the time anyway.

Pazienza over Gatti? Are you kidding me? Do you know what Pazienza's best weight class is? LIGHTWEIGHT. Where did they fight? SUPER MIDDLEWEIGHT

Also Baldomir and Gatti are not Floyd's other top two wins. It's either Hatton and De La Hoya or substitute one of them with Genaro Hernendez

(I voted Roy btw. He has a better resume)
