Jones never needed to leave America. America has the largest boxing talent pool in the world and all skilled fighters from other countries come here to make their mark. You keep showing your ignorance with every post, refer to Ray Corey's post above as to why Jones never wanted to fight Joe.

Ray Corey's post can be dismissed straight away when you consider that Calzaghe has fought in Denmark, Germany (where a LOT of people get robbed) and now the US.

He has never expressed unwillingness to go to the states. Especially to fight Roy Jones Jr which has been his dream fight for years.

Jones weighed up the risk/reward factor and thought better of it.

Lets break this down since you are just throwing out names at this point with no logic behind anything you're saying.

Why and when would he have fought Nigel Benn, Eubank, or McClellan? In the early 90's Benn and Eubank were in their prime and between jerking off on bums in the UK their only big fights were against each other. McClellan's career was ended early before he had anything accomplished and none of these guys were fighting in the US outside of a couple fights in New Jersey early in their careers. These guys came before RJJ's time, they weren't on the radar.

And I'm not even sure why you brought up Collins, hes a ****ing bum.

RJJ was busy fighting a YOUNG Bernard Hopkins(who would've had his way with Calzaghe), and a YOUNG undefeated 44-0 James Toney who would've also ****d any of the boxers you mentioned, while fighting everyone else on the way up, embarrassing them on the way.

You can keep talking about him never fighting Calzaghe but it's widely known, its been said in interviews, that Calzaghe didn't want any of RJJ in his prime. And at 39 years old, RJJ is granting Calzaghe a payday that will surpass everything hes done up to this point. Which shows how much RJJ is worth and how little sense it would've made for Jones to fight some guy over in Wales who's been jerking off with a paper title for a decade, making his name beating up bums.

And actually, as the undisputed Middleweight Champion of the world, Pavlik HAS proven he is the best Middleweight in the World.

What has Pavlik done? Beat Jermain Taylor at middleweight? So that automatically means he deserves a shot at the Light Heavyweight Champ.
