yeah but you do realize that toney is a MUCH better fighter than calzaghe is don't you? jones almost completely dominated the whole fight against toney. he would've demolished calzaghe. No way in hell am I gonna be led to believe that jones didn't want to fight him cuz he was high risk. thats just ridiculous.

Toney was high risk/high reward. And if he had lost to Toney, it wouldnt have been the end of his career. He would've lost to the best around. Easy to recover from.

Calzaghe was high risk/low reward. He wins and nobody cares cos Calzaghe wasnt a big name. But a defeat to a guy that had been dismissed like Calzaghe would've been career-suicide for Jones at the time. Hence his reluctance to fight.
