    Sam Peter-Roy Jones Jr.
That would be a fight I'd want to see actually.
Peter is definitely better than Ruiz and Roy is not the same fighter he was when he beat Ruiz, but if Jones can go the distance, which is improbable but possible, he would most likely pick up a decision win.
And going out world heavyweight champion is definitely going out on top.

I have no idea how a Jones fight could go.

If Roy is truly shot, then feather fisted slap happy euro bum *** Calzone knocks him out.....

        throwin that out there.

But I don't think Roy is shot, i'd put money on him. He's a superior athlete to Joe plain and simple.

Age doesn't mean **** either, Joe looked like arse against Hopkins.

If he did this and did it correctly and impressively, he'd be in my top 10, p4p. Good Lord.

I would of preferred a fight with Pavlik.

            Calzaghe should win this UD.

The only Roy who can beat Calzaghe is a revived one. Funnily enough I've never bought into the idea that he's shot. Sure he aint prime, but Roy will give Joe a fight to remember.
Jones is shot. If Cal loses he got beat by a (super-talented) shot washed up fighter. If Cal wins he beat a (super-talented) shot washed up fighter. Calzaghe put himself in this situation. Its no win. There is no way in hell that if Calzaghe wins he deserves the same kind of credit as if he beat a prime RJJ. I still know why this fight is happening, but I am starting to get excited about it.

Jones has all the ability in the world even at this age, not to mention that for the first time since 2003 RJJR has something to look forward too. A fight that he can get himself amped up for. And not since Roy fought John Ruiz was he able to get himself up. It happens to every fighter or at least most of the dominant ones. They almost get bored with it....Look at Money May, rather then possibly damage his legacy, he gets out becuase he has no desire anymore. **** bored the man went and wrestled for christ sake.....And he didnt make no 20 mill soo dont think that's true either......

A motivated Roy even at this point in his career...HAS THE POSSIBILITY of beating almost any fighter.........
Great point, Like I've been saying. Roy has that want and will to fight again. Defiantly odd that he wants to move back up to heavyweight. I see why, there is NO talent in that division. So it would be an easy road for him as long as he doesn't get caught right on the chin again. Anyway, Roy I believe will shock Calzaghe. If Jones Jr comes like he says he's going to come... watch out Calzaghe fans there is going to be a lot of I TOLD YOU SO...... Jones i believe on ANY given day would kill joey boy in his PRIME. Now days is a different story, still roy has the upper hand with skill, SPEED, and most of all POWER (BY FAR). little "average joe" what do you know, is in for one hell of a challenge, as is Jones. Lets just hope both come 100% and ready for WAR... I was just hoping for a NOVEMBER date, but what ever, lets just get it on......

and damn HBO, they just got me for another 100 bucks worth of PPV with there back to back weekend of fights. That's cool though...

RJJ vs Peters... Roy might just pull it off. people doubted him before Ruiz and yes Peters is better than Ruiz an RJJ isnt the same. But if Toney could move up from MW all the way to HW throughout his career and still be succesful, despite barely being able to move, im sure Roy could pull it off too, because he is better than Toney.. just have to wait and see aftre JC

its probably all Talk anyway.. he should fight Tarver, or Johnson.. maybe even B-hop

I dont think B-HOP and Jones would be a good fight. I think Jones real test is Joe and if he wins that should look at Pavlik. If he pulls both wins from them fights you better make room on your list for a new P4P king. Thats one hell of bumpy road though.... But anyone can do it, its Roy Jones Jr.
