He got a split, shouldve been unanimous againt Bernard Hopkins the linear champ at 175.

Yeah he beat Clinton Woods then moved to heavyweight. If Joe beat on poor old Clinton, would that convince you?

I'm pretty sure I wanna live in your world of fairy tales and purple dragons. There is no HW now who holds a belt, or probably ever for that matter, I would pick JC beating. Just isn't logical and only a dillusional fan would think otherwise.

You missed the point when I said Roy didnt prove he could beat Clinton Woods, he just beat him... not to prove he could goto heavyweight...

So no, beating clinton woods, doesnt prove you can fight at heavyweight, it just proves you can beat Clinton Woods

P.S. Expect WLAD OWNS to enter thread and post this exact post

"Wlad crushes Joe in the early rounds. Nobody can stand up to Wlad, least not that gay haye."
Wow you're good at making assumptions and jumping to conclusions. I said nothing about Joe facing, let alone beating, let alone knocking out Wlad.

Im pretty sure he'd decision John Ruiz though.

It's not unfeasible for Joe to do it. Peter is pretty much a bigger, slower version of Lacy. Lacy couldn't lay a glove on Cal.

Too much credit is given to RJJ for the Ruiz fight. If he'd done it without Nady in there, it would be truly impressive.

So what, apart from actually doing it, proved that Jones was ready to win a heavyweight title?

              Perhaps the limited opposition?

Why not? Dont just call me delusional, actually give me reasons why, hypothetically, he couldnt do it against weak opposition like Ruiz. Go on....

JC wouldn't fight a hard punching 160lb champ, but all of a sudden he can jump to a 200+lb champion? Come on guys.

Joe would box circles round Pavlik. Come on. Pavlik hasnt even sorted out business at Middleweight and he thinks he can challenge the 175 champ.

Joe has faced harder punchers at 168. Dont base your argument on the fact that he wants his last fight to be against Jones - bigger name, more money etc - than Pavlik.
