    Premature Stoppages

Name fights where you think the fight was stopped too soon and why it should have been allowed to continue.

Chavez-Taylor 1. I don't think an explanation is necessary for this one.

JMM vs Juan Wheerler. 5 seconds left in the fight, Wheeler had gotten his legs back from getting wobbled earlier in the round when the referee called off the fight for JMM.

Jones Jr. vs. Sosa - Sosa wasn't hurt... at all.
Calzaghe vs. Manfredo - See above.

Floyd vs Manfredy. This has to be one of the worst I have ever seen. For a championship fight to be stopped like that was just a complete disgrace IMO.

On Roy-Sosa, sure it was a bit of an early stoppage but I wouldn't say he wasn't hurt at all.

Lol, so Jones vs. Sosa was a less legitimate stoppage than Mayweather vs. Manfredy?

Manfredy hadn't thrown a shot for like 20 seconds...

          Eyes, use them.

No explanation needed for Chavez-Taylor, although I do disagree. You either believe 2 seconds could or wouldn't have made a difference to his health.

I think Sosa was getting hit with a lot more clean shots than Manfredy was. I agree that Manfredy wasn't throwing anything back and that is what cost him but it really didn't look to me as though he was sustaining a huge amount of damage. I've seen both the fights multiple times and IMO Sosa took more punishment and deserved to be stopped more than Manfredy.

Manfredo was getting his butt whipped, but I agree he wan't hurt and deserved to be given at least another round or two to come back into the fight.

It would have taken Chavez 2 seconds to just get back into throwing distance, I blame Duva more than Steele though and would have liked to see Taylor take the win.

Brian Vera was robbed of a knockout. That was a ****ty stoppage.

O'neil Bell quitting against Adamek was awful, but that wasn't the ref's fault.
