Not racist to prefer substance over style

I think everybody white, black, hispanic or asian want to see someone from their own culture that they can identify with be the best. Lampley and Merchant have no swagger or ****** experience so of course they cant relate with someone as flossy as Mayweather or Wright. I think style if fine as long as you have substance to match. Thats the problem Lampley and Merchant have with Floyd is that he has more style than substance.. which explains why so many fans hate him for not fighting the best. People hated Michael Jordans gold chain, tongue hanging out and red and black nikes until he destroyed everybody in route to winning 5 championships. His substance surpassed his style.

now watch all the floyd fans say how right Winky is and how wise and intellegent he is. but if he were to side against floyd, he would be an "old washed up fighter who is jealous of floyd's success and the fact that he cant get as much money as floyd for fights".

Yeah, this Mexican is a good example. Mexican ppl have an other understanding of boxing. They like to see blood. Well... maybe you should stop watching boxing. Boxing is an art... what you are looking for where some centuries before us. I mean... the beatings they take is all nice... but I guess it's not so nice, if you been mentally ******ed with 35, probably can't eat without help, because you were so much of a man and let yourself get beat up. The boxing ring is not the place to be a man. It's an profession... in life you should be a real man... stand up for your family etc. in the ring... you should know your profession. And as hard as it is... if you get beat up every fight, bloodied etc. then your doing something wrong about your profession, that includes a lot of mexican fighters. The Margarito thing was predicated on the fact that Floyd had to pick a welterweight to fight and was being offered a career high payday to fight him and still had nothing to say on the matter. He was inconsistent ("If it makes money it makes cents" OK well here's eight millions "Er... he ain't fought nobody") and at the time Margarito was the best opponent for him (a Welterweight title holder offering a career high payday). Of course once the Baldomir fight was made (linear champion, begging to be relieved of the title) then Margarito was no longer the best option regardless of the money. The $8,000,001 figure just seemed bogus to me, really bull**** spin.

It was an investment to get the linear championship, and led to Floyd's two highest paydays against De La Hoya and Hatton.
