Tarver just wasn't that good, he had a shot Roy Jones. Guys like Harding and Glen were never A-level fighters. They were solid B.
Trinidad and De La Hoya were also middleweight champions, which is another point that you fail to acknowledge. They were not just blown up legends that were not ranked in the division, both beat top 10 fighters at middleweight to get their belt. To Hopkins credit, he stopped both of them in great performances and didn't struggle much.

Tarver was and still is a very good fighter. I have already went through his resume. He beat some highly ranked fighters and champions on one of the most talented era's for light heavyweights. Johnson also showed on may occasions that he is a very good fighter. In his fight with Chad Dawson, he showed that even at the age of 39, he could still compete with the elite fighters in the divisions and even become one of the major title holders. You are cleary biased here.

        Calzaghe UD.

in 2001 he was like that go watch his fight with Tito he would have taken Calzaghe to school easy on the evidence of how he performed as a 43 year old

yeah and that makes him a World Class Elite fighter i guess that fact that McClellan did not look after his weight properly inbetween fights and used to cut ridiculous amounts of weight in short spaces of time had nothing to do with it

he was complaing about head aches in his interview after the 1st Julian Jackson fight

McClellan was complaining of headaches and neck pain after the first Jackson fight, he also suffered from nausea after that fight so Benn probably didn't cause it but made a pre-existing injury worse.

              And I don't see how it's funny.

Trinidad beat the B-level Joppy....That is nothing spectacluar. Oscar was given a gift against Sturm.

Tarvers resume aint all that....He beat and lost to Glen who has always been a B guy. Lost to Harding and beat him, another B guy.

Also watch Tarvers fight with Reggie Johnson, he was given a gift in that fight.

By the way....i would say your the biased guy here. Making such claims about Tarver being a first ballet HOF guy. Im not being bias, i tell it like it is. Hatton is my favorite fighter im not deluded enough to beleive he is something he's not. Calzaghe is different though, he is proven. If you cant see what im saying here then something is clearly wrong.
