When I saw the first 3 words of the thread title on the index, I knew if I clicked it would be about comparing Floyd Jr. to somebody in order to stir a negative consensus on his achievements.

    Sad little men.

Floyd really got in all your asses.

        I agree with this.

Also, like it or not Mayweather invoked an emotion, whether good or bad, out of all boxing fans. I'm not sure Manny does that.

As much of a fan as a was for Mayweather, I say Pacquiao is the better representative. I base my decision on the fact that Manny doesn't seem to be determining who he fights by how much $$$$$ he can get. Mayweather didn't do this throughout his entire career but we really saw it at the end of his career. Pacquiao has taken some really hard fights in the past couple of years.

Pacquiao is also much more likable. How can you not like the guy?

Can't say the same for Mayweather.

I used to be a Floyd fan.. If he came back and announced a Cotto match, I'd be a fan again. But as of now, anybody who defends his antics are delusional.

Serious question: Do you think Floyd Mayweather represented the sport better than Manny Pacquiao?

Why do people keep making thread comparing the two?

Why do people need to justify to themselves who is better with loaded polls and questions?

Why does it matter who thinks who is better?

Why do people keep making threads comparing the best in the sport to someone that retired?

Why do people feel the need to bash on a retired fighter?

Why not just move on and cherish Manny while he is around?

Why does Floyds name keep comming up in your threads and polls?

If Manny is so great why so many polls that seek to validate a point of view where you already know who will agree with you and who will not?

lol... What? Pacquiao's fights evoke emotion for anybody with a pulse. Floyd (in the later years if his career) evoked emotion through his antics OUTSIDE of the ring.

From his fans, Manny inspires emotions of a fanatical kind.

Mayweather got under everybody's skin one way or another.

                    So I agree.

I know many boxing fans who just don't like Pac, and therefore they don't watch him fight. Even people who hated PBF wanted to see him fight.
