However, from Cortez's view he believed that punch was both behind the head and while his opponent was down... if he allowed the fight to continue and then he was injured, Cortez would've gotten his ass chewed out big-time. Bad result, but I understand where he's coming from in his actions.
      Yes your right.

        You gotta think about it.

Cortez stepped in at first for no damn reason. Therefore; Soto blood was pumping and gunning for the kill. He tried to take a knee once, but didn't then in the process of Soto throwing a hook one landed behind the head.

Horrible call. it wasn't that serious. Lorenzo is a **** for making a big scene for nothing. **** him and his eyelids.

I hope Cortez gets fired. He ****ed up. He shouldn't have stepped in anyway.

Cortez shouldn't have broke them up when Soto was putting it on... atleast he could've gave Lorenzo a standing 8 for the lull in action.

cortez had a senior moment and then held up the fight trying to cover his ass. that glancing swipe soto threw when lorenzo took a knee because his face was falling off from previous blows. lorenzo should get an emmy award!
a protest will be filed by soto. and when tapes are shown hopefully he gets the win.he won every round and tore lorenzo face up and pummelled his body.
unfortunately more than likely with suiliman involved favorable decision will go to highest bidder. him his wife and son run that sanctioning body.

What Lorenzo did is what "Juan Coggi did to Frankie Randell" twice.

Even Terry Noriss opponet "cant remember his name" pulled this **** I think 3 times, but Norris did hit him while he was low.

Luis Santana did it to Norris twice, Norris' foul the second time was blatant though.

sulaiman should be kind to soto, lorenzo is not a profitable fighter
where soto could be profitable being mexican and with a pacquiao fight possible

that result only embarrased the wbc
i mean wtf does it says about your organization when u have a 36 years ol lorenzo as your title holder who is laying on the canvas bloodied and beaten to a pulp
plus its well known the las vegas comission hates sulaiman, sulaiman has said this a lot of times they probably ignored his protests
