There is no way Soto should have lost that fight. Lorenzo was totally acting, and Cortez should never referee an important fight ever again.

Joe Cortez should be banned from boxing, and this isn't me joking around.

One of the worst I've seen. The man was disqualified for no reason and the only person who can take the blame is Cortes. It was shocking.

I LMAO at Cortes talking about the rules:

"I told them in the dressing room if you hit your opponent when he's down you may be disqualified....I had no choice!"

Horrible decision. Soto got robbed of a victory and Cortez should just retire.

I feel bad for Soto. Can't he ever get a break. This was supposed to be an easy big win, but Cortez robbed him. A rematch would be fun to watch though.

That was a terrible injustice to Soto.

Cortez seems to be getting senile and he's no longer competent to officiate fights.

Is anyone now in doubt over Cortez's inability to referee important fights?

The man's a ****ing farce. How he got assigned Calzaghe vs Hopkins after the Mayweather-Hatton debacle, I'll never know.

Did anybody see him getting interviewed? Trying to get in as many lame ass catchphrases as possible with his ****** **** eating grin.
