Please. J.M.M was blatantly ducked by barrera and morales. Morales never even tried to truly make a fight with the man, and barrera thought j.m.m. lost something, so he took the fight, and lost just like i thought he would. Barrera fought better then i thought he would, but he lost.

Does this even make sense? Nobody wants to lose their first fight. Cal or Floyd aren't scared of anyone. That is just utterly ridiculous.

you sure about that? I mean I heard straight from his Mexican promoter they did, highest payday, and JMM's people flat out said no. hmmm whom to believe the internet poster assuming or Morales' own promoter?

and the Maldonado's (Barrera's old promoters) are still around the LA scene I can ask them about whether or not Barrera and Marquez was talked about back in the day.

Funny. Marquez was the one that backed off from the Morales fight and Marquez was the one that turned down the Pacquiao rematch.

But yet Manny and Erik were the ones that ducked him? hmmm......
Marquez didn't turn down the pac rematch left. He wanted more money than that phony offer they first gave j.m.m. They said take it or leave it. he asked for more, they said no, and ignacio walked. They think they can legitimize their thinking because j.m.m fought john for far less money. J.m.m wasn't asking for 50-50, but he felt like he did his part in their first fight and should be paid accordingly.

It makes perfect sense and you just confirmed it for me. Yes nobody likes to lose a fight you are right. So if you are in a position of power like joe or floyd and are able to pick your next opponent. Between A, B, and C, of course you are going to pick the one that you feel has the least possible chance of beating you. This is where Pacman sets himself apart from floyd and joe

Now how often do you hear Mexican Boxers ducking other fighters because the money isnt right? I mean Mexicans are some of the toughest in the game and I'd like to know what Mexican fighters have ducked/dodged other fighters. They fight any man anywhere for any price. Unlike the Americans who win one title fight then assume the world owes them a million dollar pay day. Juan Manuel Marquez for example went over to indonesia for 30k dollars. My memory could be messed up so please help me out and give me a name
Mexican fighter dont duck period thats why there faces look they have been involved in a car crash

they also have notoriously bad chins

They never tried to make the fight. Forget talking about it. You can talk about anything all day long. Mexican rivalries are a must see. Marquez was bigger than those guys when they were making their bones at 122, and they never tried to make a fight with him. J.m.m was considered low risk, low reward.
