Contrary to wishful thinking, the top American sports Basketball, Baseball, American Football, and Ice Hockey to name a few, are simply not big in Europe whatsoever, and not that massive in Asia or Australia area when I was out there.

Rounders is similar to baseball, is played in schools a lot, and some non serious group events, and is more a girls sport.

Netball is also similar to Basketball, is played more slightly more competitively but again, only by girls.

Hockey is similar to Ice Hockey, played somewhat competitively, but again not big and only really played by girls.

Rugby, similar to American football in some ways, has little to no protective wear, is big in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, South America's and generally played all round the world.

Perfectly reasonable to just point those things out, nothing more.

Basketball not big in Europe? LOL I had to laugh at that one. It may not be as big as some other sports there but you guys found it interesting enough to make a league and play championships for it.

Not to mention the washed up American players that go there and get payed big money to play in those leagues in Europe.

Don't tell me the Nordic and Eastern European countries don't like Hockey either, they sure get up for it in the olympics.

yeah but the canadians are not bad. they took the french culture but discarded most of the french arrogance.

                    **** the french!

britannia ruled the seas and its empire for hundreds of years. the arrogance can be explained.

america since ww2 has been the dominant superpower. the arrogance is justifiable.

                    but the french?!?!?

the whole french army couldn't hold off a couple huns with capguns!!!

Could you imagine Jason Taylor playing rugby in Europe?? He would kill someone, really. And he's considered very "undersized" by American football standards.
