Basically the exact same thing is happening here.
We were allowed to lend money to basically anyone 5 years ago, now they realised it was bad idea.

Nobody likes the French, if you hear anybody say anything bad about the French then it's all true! trust me. That's why I've always been put off with going to Canada, I couldn't deal with visiting a country with French mannerisms.

The NBA? Baseball? come on, it may not be as big as futbol in the rest of the world but almost every continent plays basketball and baseball. Not to mention there was a European American Football league for a little while which is big considering you Euro's hate it so much.

It's hard to refer as people as English or French or German, when those countries are no bigger than the state of Georgia.

It's gone exactly the same way over here, although the Northern Rock crisis was triggered by the American sub-prime mortgage market because they invested **** loads of wollar in your market.

No one hates it, we're mostly just indifferent. They had a game of it over here a while ago at Wembley stadium that seemed quite entertaining, but I'm guessing the European league didn't work because it was just the **** players that America didn't want? Winning that would be like winning a WBU title or something.
