But nah, I don't see any of those guys touching Roy, except MAYBE Robinson.
    Blasphemy.

You have to be reminded of the circumstances of these fights. Virgil Hill was coming off of a lose to Daruis, Jones fought him in his very next fight. Mike MCCallum was very old and past his prime respective weight class. He was a natural junior middleweight. The best fighters that Jones beat were, Reggie Johnson, John Ruiz, Bernard Hopkins and James Toney. Those are the only wins that stands out.
Eric Harding and Thulani Malinga were world class fighters, as was Virgil Hill. Harding was able to give Roy a spirited fight before succumbing to an injury. Malinga and Hill both had success on a world level after losing to Roy in one-sided fashion.

Hagler would make Jones fight the way he made Hearns fight. Jones didn't like ugly fights and wanted to be cute, Hagler just wouldn't allow that.

McClellan has the height, reach, power and ability to make the pressure style work for him. I give him a great shot, especially considering Jones's chin and all. Jones often layed against the ropes and that would give McClellan his oppurtunities. If the fight is in the center of the ring, then McClellan would be a student at Roy Jones university.

Those are actually perfect examples. Jones didn't know what to do with Harding and neither fighter took the fight. Jones himself stated that Harding was his toughest title defense. These guys are also not elite boxers or upper elchelon. Nunn and Hagler were both elite and pound for pound quality.

Virgil Hill was never world class. He lost to a fadded Tommy Hearns and hasn't beaten the elite when he stepped up, same as Malinga.

No they weren't, but they were certainly world class. Hill, as it stands, is one of the best Light Heavyweights of the last handful of years, simply based on the volume and longevity of his career.

Eric Harding was a damned good boxer at his best though. Again, not an elite fighter as you stated, but a fine boxer nonetheless.

Agreed, Harding could have had his hands on a title but the division was too hot. He was the first to beat Tarver and was on his way to beating the second time, but was caught with a counter left hand and knocked down 3 times.

Top 20 or 30 right now, if he beats Calzaghe, definitely top 15 or even top 10.
