FYI:
People get nervous when they see the words "German" and "Taking over the world" in the same sentence.Comment

yes, but they are promoted like they are germans. (they are germans, they all are in possession of a german passport.)
I am from germany, even from the city, where abraham and his brother started boxing.
many german people know that most of "our" boxers weren't born here, but nearly nobody knows, that that their actual names, aren't the names they were born with.
the next funny thing is, that almost all really big fights are on free TV in germany, the fights last night, hopkings calzaghe, mayweather DLH and a few more.
it's impossible to overtake the usa in boxing as a small country (in comparison), but we got a few good boxers, who seem to enjoy it here in germany with the audience and the management. but the big money is in the states!Comment

Mexican/Latin fighter's fan base will never shift to Europe or anywhere else. They will always make their money in the states, especially with some extrapolations having Latins becoming the majority here by 2075. Plus latin fighters pwn, unless you're a heavyweight homer.Last edited by Mizzou; 06-22-2008, 06:58 PM.Comment
