After pavlik beaten lockett, joe's camp suddenly changed tune. Before this fight they say that pavlik fight would be great and they do not want people to think that joe is just beating old and wash-up fighters.
Loew really has a point, joe's father witnessed first hand how his fighter was demolished by pavlik. In fact, joe's father threw the towel because he cannot withstand to see the senseless beating of lockett...what more if it was joe who is in that situation, his very own son!Comment

this is a ridiculous statement ... it basically means that you are comparing Joe Calzaghe with Gary Lockett .... this is just wrong .... Joe is quite obviously the far superior fighter, Lockett was a domestic/european level fighter at best ... its obvious Joe feels safer with Roy than Kelly. Jack always talks the truth, like it or not! Kelly has a way better chance of beating Joe than Roy and the whole forum knows this!!!!Comment

I agree with Jack Loew. However I dont think it was the lockett fight that scared them away. It was more the high risk of losing Joes 0 to a younger and stronger fighter. As for Pavlik cleaning up the division in 4 rounds, I think Jack is underestimating Arthur Abraham. While Pavlik would be the favorite in a Ghost vs AA match, I dont think he will finish it in 4 rounds or by a KO/TKO seeing as how AA survived 8 round with a broken Jaw and none other then power-punching Miranda trying to finish him off.Comment
