Calzaghe isn't perfect but you make it hard to have a rational discussion with comments like this.

This thread bottomline shows us that Joe Calzaghe ducked Pavlik a young hungry champion to fight an Old Roy Jones

For the record Prime for Prime Joe Calzaghe wouldve been knocked out by Roy Jones.

defend it all you want, but the fact is jones is almost 40. a shell of himself, and a name at this point! this fight may make money, but gives joe no cred, respect, or improving of his legacy.

Calzaghe says Pavlik doesn't really want to fight him. Warren, JC's promoter, says Pavlik was pushing hard for the fight but it's not up to Kelly, it's up to Joe. Joe just cemented his legacy in America as a ***** who take easy fights. The least Calzaghe could do is not try to spin it like a politician.

he's ducking pavlik for sure, jones jr would have knocked calzaghe out back in his prime and still very possibly could if he is aggressive enough and pavlik could take take down calz

Thats pretty ridiculous, hes acting like hes looking out for Pavlik's best interest, "He wouldn't have anything to gain" "Pavlik's got the world at his feet".
