Lets get things straight here... Calzaghe is stronger than Pavlik

Back to the dillusions.
First of all: Calzaghe CANNOT, no matter what he does- stop Kelly Pavlik. (give up on it)
Secondly: What would make you ever asomb that Kelly would quit on his stool. Joe has made no fighters that i know of, quit on their stool. Much less the undisputed , undefeated middleweight champ.
If Pavlik has not proven to you that he has one hell of alot of heart , then i guess he will never prove that. We will just have to see where the chips fall if the fight comes off. I don't think the fight will be made, but you never know. Roy Jones will probably be fighting Joe, and if Joe is true to his word will be retiring afterwards. If I were Joe, I would take the Pavlik fight over Jones. Even at this age, Jones is still faster and a way sharper puncher. At least he has a speed advantage over Pavlik. With Jones, the only advantages he will have are movement and workrate. Jones owns all other catagories excluding the chins. But, that will not come into play in that fight either.
Don't **** yourself, Calzaghe has the power to do the job. Whether he uses it or not would be an entirely different story, but he does have it. Nobody's saying Pavlik doesn't have dumptruck loads of heart and will, or at least nobody with any brains. He's a great kid, humble, decent, and with all that heart. But if he gets caught early in a round in the right way, gets stunned, and can't get his head back together enough to stay on his feet, he can damned sure be KO'd, or TKO'd. Honestly, he'd be better off against a bigger puncher than Calzaghe, one that will actually knock him down, rather than get him out on his feet and get a ref stoppage because he can't defend himself.Comment

That IF Zags sat down on his shots, he'd hit harder then Taylor?
Whatever.
Zags ain't a power puncher. Go ahead dig up ten year old ****.
As of NOW, Taylor carries a bigger punch then Zags.
Joe Calzaghe, the power puncher....Comment

The second fight his power punches were landed 14% lower than in his first, from 48% to 34%.
Id like to see a Pavlik fight were he had a lower % landed power punches.

Taylor is not a power puncher, so it doesn't make Joe one just because he punches harder.
Taylor has never KO'd anyone in a world title fight, Calzaghe has not only KO'd people in most of his title fiights, he was fighting at a higher standard than the Jr. middleweights Taylor was failing to put away.
Actually think about it logically, you know I'm right.Comment

I didn't say he was a power puncher, I said he hits harder than Taylor.

Zags doesn't hit harder then Taylor. Sorry.Comment
