    Manny Pac of course... if if they say Joe Cal is no.1, it doesn't bother me....

    both are world class fighters IMO, and if they were of the same size, i wouldn't know who would win...

      I had Pacquiao before Floyd retired so it's really an easy decision for me, it's hard for me to take Floyd's retirement seriously and if you are Roger Mayweather don't you feel betrayed?

        I'm going to make my decision after their next opponents and performances. If Calzaghe faces Pavlik and dominates him ala Kessler the Calzaghe will take the number 1. David Diaz isn't a P4P fighter so i'm going to wait to see if he wins that fight well and then see if he can beat Campbell/Casamayor.

        If they both win in impressive fashion then It depends who does it better. RIGHT now if i had to chose I'd pick Pac-man but barely.

          Pacman, got wins againts some future hall of fame and even humiliated them and Joe, beside Kessler, who else has he beaten? don't tell about Hopkins, he shoud retires a few year ago and Jeff Lacy, Jeff who?

          If the 2 fight in the same division, Pac would KO Calzaghe.

            When did he lose? Cause if my memory serves me right, pacman won via split decision in his last fight against jmm and his nxt fight is against d. diaz and the schedule of that bout is on june 29. Sir, seriously i think you are a total asswipe.

              Pretty disapointed with this article, it's very biased;

              When mentioning Pac's losses the writer provides and excuse, being weight, and he's fine now. The 3rd loss was legit it then says, as if strongly dis*****g the 2 previous losses or theyre meaning.

              Only positive comments are made on any of Pac's opponents, whilst only negative about Calzaghe's. Entertainment wise he clearly back's Pac putting it off as fact, when really Calzaghes speed and un orthodox style many many prefer. Criticises Calzaghe for lack of punching ability and low KO rate, without mentioning why, he's broke his hands even in fights, and theyre very brittle now, meaning it's all the more impressive he manages to still win. He also had a great early KO record which isn't mentioned. Yet any cons on Pac are excused.

              Sorry just really clear this isn't an overly un biased, or balanced article.

                **** it! If I were deciding who, it would Pacquiao and Cotto. Cotto about time gets his due. If he beats Marg. in July, he's def #2. The guy owned at 140lbs, moved up to 147lbs, and is still owning. Impressively all the way.

                    lol, it's not biased it's just the truth and that's why it sounds bad for J.C.

                    The writer even picked Calzaghe over Pacman so what are you talking about?
