Yes or no. Would the Euros beat those guys.

Also yeah the current American heavies aren't fit enough. That's because all the talent is going to other team sports. Period.

Guys like Mayweather/Mosely/Oscar are too small for NBA/NFL etc etc. They wouldn't be recruited anyway.

    But yes:

Ali, Frazier, Foreman, Holmes, Tyson, Shavers, Liston, Holyfield, Bowe, Morrison, Norton, Spinks etc. etc. all would have been beaten if only the current Euro heavies had been around.

Remember when Golota came in and cleared out the heavyweight division? That was awesome!
    LMAO good point

You are putting words into my mouth. I said they would STRUGGLE. Maybe not lose, but definitely struggle.

Size is a BIG factor in boxing, like it or not.

The thread starters implication is that:

        Great Point.

American heavyweights always were second best:

Wlad Klit TKO Prime Ali Round 1
Vlad Klit TKO Prime George Foreman Round 1
Valuev KO Prime Evander Holyfield Round 2
Barney Rubble KO Prime Mike Tyson Round 1

Just highlight anything else these nimrods have to say about boxing. I keep forgetting they've only been watching since November so you gotta take it easy on them.

            Two words:

            Audley.

            Harrison.

Yeah it is to some degree. Like right now Wlad is doing a great job with it.

Too bad things like stamina, grit, heart, chin, and conditioning also come into play at heavy. Oh yeah defense, something Eastern Euros are known for.

You are not reading what I am saying. I am not saying they were always second best, I'm saying they found it easier to succeed without a significant size disadvantage, is it that hard to accept?

I tend to think if guys like Corrie Sanders, Ross Purritty, and Lamon Brewster can knock you out, you aren't exactly a threat to guys like Ali, Bowe, Holyfield, Tyson, Frazier, Marciano, Tunney, Dempsey, Johnson, Louis and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on and on

All the big kids in the U.S. play ball. The smaller kids find success in individual sports like wrestling and football. Our best heavyweight prospects our out on the football field right now. There is no question that we have tremendous natural talent out there on the ball field's; theyre not interested in boxing. Talent begins with interest.

But the fact remains, the only guys you have who are big enough to compete are not fit enough to go 12 rounds...

Americans are not naturally big, eastern europeans are...
